Who can apply: Funded objects must be formally listed cultural monuments in Germany. Eligible applicants include owners or other authorized holders; in some cases nonprofit carriers, associations, foundations, or specialists for individual services. Applicants must demonstrate monument status, urgency, solid project preparation, appropriate permits, realistic financing, and that the work is compatible with monument conservation. The owner must generally contribute their own share and exhaust other funding sources.
Deadline: Annual deadline: 31 August for funding in the following year; decisions in the first quarter of the following year.
