CEEBP Grants Programme
Who can apply: Publishers in the listed Central and Eastern European countries. Applications should concern quality books in literature and the humanities. The publishing house and translator must be of good quality; the applicant must show a well-argued need, a sound budget, and availability of other funding. Generally not awarded to books of a specialised nature, health/medicine/science/ecology/business/children's books/textbooks/art books/catalogues/religious or party political works, free distribution books, publishers younger than two years, foreign copyrights/reprint rights, institutional costs, research/travel costs, conference proceedings, magazines/journals, publications of non-profit organisations, completed projects, translations from Dutch, or print runs under 500 copies.
Deadline: February 15 and August 15 each year
