Geoscientists without Borders® Project Funding
Who can apply: Applicants must be not-for-profit, charitable, or higher educational organizations that are 501(c)(3) organizations or equivalent. Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible. The principal investigator must be an established professional in a geosciences field; undergraduate, early-career professionals, and student chapter members may not serve as PIs. Projects must include student participation, particularly local students from the project location, and must use geophysics or other geosciences. Projects involving unexploded ordnance detection, political lobbying, proselytizing, or activities unrelated to the SEG or GWB mission are ineligible. Previously funded applicants must have completed prior project reports and demonstrated measurable success and appropriate use of funds.
