Who can apply: Projects must be of charitable/public-benefit quality; the foundation funds only nonprofit-character projects and does not support mere application of already known technologies. Priority is given to projects in North Germany, especially in the building/energy/environment technology fields.

Who can apply: Must be nonprofit/public‑benefit research or development projects in the foundation's thematic scope (building/energy/environmental technology). Projects that are mere application of already known technologies are not funded. Support for dissertations, praxis‑oriented research, development, pilot projects and inter‑/multi‑disciplinary planning work is eligible.
