RTM School Music Award Programme
Who can apply: Non-fee-paying primary or secondary schools; school established for at least 3 years; below-average provision of musical instruments and tuition; above-average Free School Meals and Pupil Premium percentage; secure storage space for instruments; schools offering music as part of a carousel curriculum model are not eligible; schools that previously received an RTM School Music Award may reapply after 5 years; priority given to schools in greatest need and currently focused on schools in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
Deadline: Q2 2026 funding round: Expression of Interest deadline 1 June 9:30 AM; invitation to full application by 3 June 5:00 PM; full application deadline 29 June 12:00 PM; results released 3-6 July.
