Who can apply: Eligible projects are registered cultural monuments in Germany. Applicants may be owners or authorized holders (e.g., leaseholders, hereditary building rights holders), nonprofit associations or foundations, and in special cases experts for individual services. The project must be threatened without special assistance; applicants must use other available financing sources. Funding is generally for measures that preserve original historic fabric and require the necessary monument and building permits.
Deadline: Annual deadline for the following year: 31 August; decisions in the first quarter of the next year.
