JRRT Grant Programme
Who can apply: Most grants go to small and medium-sized organisations. JRRT prefers organisations that are not charities. It does not fund organisations based outside the UK unless the focus is wholly within the UK and due diligence can be conducted. It does not fund individual campaigners or researchers without a host organisation, local campaign groups without clear national impact, work that has already taken place, legal fees, personal support, educational bursaries, or general appeals. Academic research without clear campaign impact, movement building, and arts-based projects are unlikely to be funded.
Deadline: Small grants up to £10,000 can be submitted at any time. Larger grants follow quarterly deadlines; upcoming outline deadlines listed were 11 May 2026, 24 August 2026, and 2 November 2026, with corresponding final application deadlines 18 May 2026, 1 September 2026, and 9 November 2026.
