Herefordshire Education Fund

Who can apply: Preference is given to people under 25, but older applicants reskilling or returning to education may be considered. Student bursary applications should be submitted by October of each academic year; Hay Festival support is for Herefordshire schools.

Deadline: Rolling for general support; student bursary applications must be submitted by October each academic year; Hay Festival school support applications for 2026 accepted from January 2026.

Iron Fund

Who can apply: Projects should alleviate need in Herefordshire; capital projects involving building improvements/refurbishments are not currently funded.

Deadline: Rolling basis all year.

HCF Arts Fund

Who can apply: Projects should use arts activities to support wellbeing or cultural advancement.

Deadline: Rolling basis all year.

HCF Sport Fund

Who can apply: Projects should use sports activities to promote health and wellbeing.

Deadline: Rolling basis all year.

Andrew Basnett Fund

Who can apply: Supports projects and individuals aligned with artisan skills and training; standard HCF eligibility applies.

Becket Bulmer Fund

Who can apply: Projects aligned to fund themes; standard HCF eligibility applies.

Fuel Poverty Fund / Surviving Winter Fund

Who can apply: Focus on households in fuel poverty; application via HCF Fuel Poverty form (used for Surviving Winter and Household Support Funds).

Small Sparks Fund

Who can apply: Organisations with charitable or social benefit aims; see HCF 'Who Can Apply' guidance. Small grassroots groups eligible.
