Who can apply: The object must be a formally listed cultural monument in Germany. Eligible applicants include owners or authorized holders, nonprofit operating associations or foundations, and in special cases experts for individual services with owner consent. Projects must be well prepared, monument-compatible, and have the required monument/legal approvals. The owner is expected to contribute financially and exhaust other funding sources.

Deadline: Annual deadline for the following year: 31 August. Catastrophe-damaged monuments may apply year-round.
