Who can apply: Applicants must own or be responsible for a formally protected cultural monument in Germany. The site should be entered in the official monuments register as an individual monument. Funding considers damage severity, threat level, solid project preparation, monument-appropriate methods, realistic financing, and credible partners.

Deadline: Annual application deadline: 31 August; disaster-damaged monuments may apply year-round.
