Hai-Stiftung Grants / Shark Conservation Project Support

Who can apply: Projects must serve shark conservation and be financially feasible for the foundation. The shark species studied should generally meet IUCN Red List criteria CR, EN, VU, NT, DD, or NE. Project leaders should be recognized specialists in the field, except some short projects may be exempt. Ethical standards for vertebrate and protected-animal research must be followed. Applications must be in English. The foundation does not fund overhead, salaries, most travel expenses, congress fees, publication fees, or certain expensive equipment.

Deadline: No fixed deadlines; applications can be submitted at any time. Contact the foundation first before submitting a proposal.
