Junior German Assistant Programme
Who can apply: Must have (Fach-)Abitur or equivalent (in some cases B.A., Vordiplom or Zwischenprüfung accepted); must be at least 18 at start of placement; interest in working with children and in teaching; good academic record; cultural openness; required documents include CV, motivation letter, essays, certified transcripts and (for English applications) police clearance. Participation in preparatory and closing seminars and submission of interim and final reports required.
Deadline: No single public application deadline listed; programme runs annually with placements typically from late August to mid July. Interim report dates during placement: 1 November, 1 February, 1 May. Final report due 1 August. Some vacancies may be open 'ab sofort' (e.g., positions for 2026/27).
