Who can apply: Must be a formally listed cultural monument in Germany. Preference for monuments owned by private individuals, private institutions, associations, church congregations, and municipalities. Projects must be well-prepared, monument-appropriate, realistic in scope and financing, and carried out by experienced heritage professionals. The program supports all eras and monument types under statutory protection.

Deadline: Annual application deadline: 31 August; catastrophe aid available year-round.
