Organisational Development Grants

Who can apply: Applicants should be familiar with the trust's eligibility criteria and priorities. The page indicates applicants must apply to the correct programme: small grants for requests up to £5,000 and main grants for requests over £5,000. Who can apply: Must be a charitable organisation and an existing, recent or potential beneficiary of the Trust.

Main Grants

Who can apply: Organisation must be a registered charity or pursuing charitable objectives; project must be based in Cumbria/Lancaster District; project should support children or young people who may be excluded from opportunities; applicants should provide recent signed accounts. The Trust prefers small to medium-sized organisations and is unlikely to support charities with turnover in excess of £1m.

Deadline: Next submission deadline noted as May 1st; specific cycles listed for November 2026 and March 2027 with EOI, invitation, final application, trustee meeting, and notification dates.
