Australian Studies in China Program (ASP)

Who can apply: Open to Australian Studies Centres or similar research units, individual researchers, collaborative teams, graduate students, academic staff, postgraduates, and early career academics. ASC applications must be signed off by the relevant director, Dean, or equivalent supervisor. For collaborative initiatives, the centre must be registered with the Chinese Association of Australian Studies. Projects should deepen understanding of Australia and Australia-China relations and avoid strategic sensitive or political topics.

Deadline: Applications due by Friday, 30 August 2026.
