Who can apply: Applicants must have one or two promoters active in a Belgian university with extensive experience in the subject, hold a Master's degree, and preferably be starting a doctorate. Postdoctoral support is exceptional. Supported projects must be individual research projects, not team projects, and may be genetic/molecular or clinical research. The fund does not support research infrastructure/equipment, writing up other projects, master's theses, or university operating costs.
Deadline: Before April 15 or October 1 each year.
