Who can apply: Project must relate to Baukultur and contribute to the foundation's mission; be charitable and benefit the public; include measurable impact criteria; have multiple funding sources and sound financial planning. Applicants should be associations, initiatives, or organizations with clear vision, personal commitment, convincing project ideas, implementation competence, and willingness to collaborate. Not funded: projects aimed only at a specialist community, closed/non-public projects, pure design and culture projects, conferences only for specialists, print products, architecture exhibitions without active mediation, loans, individual study grants, academic research projects, infrastructure/building projects, or projects without a Switzerland connection.
Deadline: Friday, 18 September 2026 (decision by 6 November 2026); Friday, 22 January 2027 (decision by 5 March 2027)
