Who can apply: Projects must fall within the Foundation's four sectors; typically 2–4 year duration; applicants (NGOs or operational partners) must be registered and authorised to work in the intervention country; applicant NGOs should have at least 3 years’ existence and minimum €500,000 annual budget. Foundation requires ability to host site visits and planned mid-term and final independent evaluations. Foundation contribution usually ≤50% of project budget and administrative fees capped at 10% of direct costs.
Deadline: Annual cycle with short concept note typically due 1 February (notes succinctes). Calls traditionally launch mid-December with full proposal stages following preselection.
