Subsidies voor amateurkunstenaars/-gezelschappen

Who can apply: Open to amateur artists/ensembles in music, theatre, dance, film and audiovisual, visual arts, literary activities and mixed forms. Applicant must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a legal entity. Must work in Utrecht city and/or province with at least part of the activity taking place there. Applicants may not be professional artists; professional organizations working with amateurs are not eligible unless applying through a cultural partner.

Deadline: Board meetings in 2026: 1 July (deadline 15 June) and 2 October (deadline 14 September). Applications must be submitted at least three months before the activity starts.

Fentener van Vlissingen Fonds subsidies / aanvragen

Who can apply: Supports cultural initiatives in Utrecht. Professional artists are supported via partner cultural organizations; amateur artists such as choirs, theatre groups and dance companies may apply directly. Applicants are expected to review the application procedure, criteria and quickscan.

Subsidies voor amateurkunstenaars / -gezelschappen

Who can apply: Open to amateur artists or groups in music, theatre, dance, film and audiovisual, visual arts, literary activities, and mixed forms; must be a legal entity registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce; must operate in the city and/or province of Utrecht; at least part of the activity must take place there. Not eligible: applications for heritage, materials, equipment, renovation, or publications; applicants with paid staff; applicants using a professional fundraiser and/or booking agency whose costs are included in the budget; applicants already awarded by the fund in the same calendar year; professional organizations working with amateurs unless applying via a cultural partner.
