Who can apply: Open to researchers in fields supported by the foundation. Primarily postdoctoral researchers and doctoral candidates completing dissertations. Research must be affiliated with Finnish universities or similar institutions. Grants are not awarded to medical, health, technical, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, or medical chemistry fields. Applicant may not receive another grant or salary full-time during the grant period.
Deadline: Annual application period January-February; decisions communicated by May/June.
