Who can apply: Grants are made to Canada Revenue Agency registered charities only, never directly to individuals. Non-profit organizations without charitable registration must have a qualified sponsor and a formalized partnership through written agreement. Preference is given to projects and programs with significant impact, a well-planned approach, a base for support, efficient use of resources, demonstrated community need, and volunteer/citizen involvement.
Deadline: March 31st annually
