ELJA Fund
Who can apply: Applicants must be organizations established within the Kingdom of the Netherlands or the Caribbean Netherlands, such as a stichting, vereniging, BV or NV with a cultural mission and no profit motive. One-person businesses, organizations in formation, individual artists, municipalities and educational institutions are not eligible. The organization should have a proven track record, include culture in its statutory objectives and in principle have ANBI status. Projects must have a clear beginning and end, start at least two months and no more than twelve months after the application deadline, take place within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, involve children and young people aged 4–18 in active arts participation, and concern music, dance, visual arts or a combination. Cofinancing is required; ELJA Foundation does not fund the full project budget. Religious or political projects, structural operating support, construction or exploitation costs, art purchases, restorations, travel grants and individual scholarships are excluded. Organizations that received an ELJA Foundation award in the same calendar year are not eligible.
Deadline: Applications may be submitted throughout the year and are assessed three times annually. The 2026 final deadline is Thursday 1 October 2026 at 15:00. Previous published 2025 deadlines were 13 February, 20 May and 16 October at 15:00.
