Who can apply: Organizations whose projects and programs benefit residents of Indiana are preferred. Projects must support bicycling-related nonprofit, charitable, educational, safety, recreational, health, social, cultural, or public-awareness purposes. Community police bike program requests may be considered for start-up programs and must include a dollar-for-dollar match from other locally raised community funds; police program requests are limited to the cost of bicycles, not parts, accessories, or other program-related costs.
Deadline: Applications for 2027 will be accepted from March 1 through April 30. If the deadline falls on a holiday or weekend, it will be extended to the next business day. Applicants will be notified by June 30.
