Who can apply: Applicants must be registered charities under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and able to issue a tax receipt, or may apply through a registered umbrella organization. The CRA charitable registration number must be included. Projects must be capital in nature, benefit a significant number of people residing in the Chilliwack area, be feasible and practical, and generally be proposed by reputable organizations with stable governance. Requests for operating funds are not eligible.
Deadline: Spring grant deadline: April 27, 2026. Fall grant deadline: October 26, 2026. The program has two application opportunities each year, with deadlines generally in late April and late October.
