Who can apply: Families in Canada with a child or adolescent affected by cancer may be eligible. Generally includes a child diagnosed with cancer or relapse, receiving care at a Canadian hospital, children and adolescents 18 years of age and under, and bereaved families of a child who has recently passed away from cancer. Assistance is generally available once per calendar year during active treatment, with an additional one-time payment during follow-up/after-care up to three years after treatment ends.
Deadline: Rolling basis; available once per calendar year during active treatment, plus one-time follow-up/after-care support.
