Project Grants (Projektförderung)

Who can apply: Projects must further the foundation's purpose (German–American relations with a clear Berlin–USA connection), be non-commercial, and generally originate from associations or non-state organisations. For school trips, applicants are expected to have sought available public subsidies first. Detailed program description, budget (costs per person/position and total), project timeline, participant list and evidence of applicant contributions are required.

Deadline: Applications accepted year-round; the executive board meets about once per quarter. Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the board meeting to be considered; project applications should be filed no later than three months before project start.
