Who can apply: Project must be in the humanities or social sciences with thematic focus on history and cultures of southern Africa (especially Namibia). Excludes publication projects, research travel/stays, and retroactive funding. Preference for projects that produce archival outputs and include outreach; materials usually handed over to Basler Afrika Bibliographien and National Archives of Namibia.
