Who can apply: Applicants must be eligible public agencies, joint powers authorities, federally recognized Indian tribes, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, or community-based organizations and non-federally recognized tribes applying with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Projects must be consistent with the funding source and the Conservancy's enabling legislation, comply with applicable CEQA requirements, demonstrate grantee capacity, have site ownership or control, and include long-term management, maintenance, and monitoring plans.
