Calgary Co-op Community Foundation
Who can apply: Supports not-for-profit groups and registered charities that align with the mandate to reduce food poverty and improve food security. Organizations or programs must operate in Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks or Strathmore. The foundation does not fund publications, advertising, professional or technical associations, political groups, religious/sectarian organizations (except non-denominational community services), fraternal organizations/private clubs, conferences/workshops/trips/tours, film/video/TV productions, grant-making foundations/endowments, third-party fundraisers, corporate fundraising by for-profit organizations or service groups, or individuals/fundraisers benefiting an individual.
Deadline: Rolling; allow at least 6 weeks for response time. Requests of $2,500 should be submitted at least 6 months in advance.
