Buttle Grants
Who can apply: Applications can only be made by frontline professionals working for a registered charity, housing association, or public sector organisation. The professional must work directly with the child or young person, complete a full needs assessment, and usually have completed at least one home visit. Eligible beneficiaries are children aged 2–18 living with a parent or carer, or young people aged 20 and under living independently with little or no family backing, who have experienced a qualifying crisis with significant and enduring impact, are in education or training for at least 12 hours per week, live on a low income and are actively engaging with support. Buttle does not support cases where poverty, poor housing, homelessness, disability/chronic illness, family separation/contact arrangements are the main issue, or looked-after children.
Deadline: Rolling; applications can be submitted at any time if criteria are met.
