About Bury Voluntary Community & Faith Alliance

Bury Voluntary Community & Faith Alliance (Bury VCFA) is a local infrastructure and grant-making body that supports voluntary, community, faith, and VCSE organisations across Bury. Its funding is highly place-based and designed to strengthen community cohesion, volunteering, wellbeing, poverty relief, and participation in physical activity and sport. It tends to back practical, community-led projects and small bursaries that build local capacity, with a strong emphasis on supporting groups already rooted in Bury.
