The Bertha Artivism Awards
Who can apply: Artivists may work in any country and must be proficient in spoken and written English, have strong connections to the community or issues addressed, and ideally demonstrate a history of social justice work. Projects may use any artistic medium, must be completed within one year, have a clear target audience, ideally connect with relevant communities, movements or organizations, be publicly accessible without charge, and not involve party-political lobbying or violence. Unregistered collectives or organizations may apply with a fiscal sponsor. Previous Artivism Award recipients may apply three years after the end of their original award; recipients of other Bertha Foundation funding may apply.
