Advancing Lives Grant
Who can apply: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations residing within Advia Credit Union's designated field of membership and must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3), or use a qualifying fiscal sponsor. Projects must serve communities in Southwest Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, or Wisconsin. The organization must comply with applicable anti-discrimination laws and have at least one staff member, volunteer, or board member who is an Advia Credit Union member. Only one grant may be awarded per applicant per calendar year. Ineligible requests include endowment campaigns, political or partisan organizations, building or operating funds, staff salaries, individual hardship assistance, religious, ethnic, labor, or fraternal groups, and debt reduction.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on February 1, May 1, August 1, or November 1. Funding decisions are scheduled for May 31, August 31, November 30, or February 28, respectively.
