USDA Supplemental Food Program (TEFAP / Agency Distribution)
This is not a grant
Hoosier Hills Food Bank provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Hoosier Hills Food Bank administers USDA-supported food distribution through its agency network. The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) increases capacity to supply healthy food to those most in need and distributes food to food pantries and soup kitchens in the service area.
Who can apply
Distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens through agency relationships; more stringent rules apply for agencies receiving food through federal commodity programs.
