Summer Meals (SFSP sponsorship)
This is not a grant
Operation Food Search provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Operation Food Search serves as a sponsor of the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), contracting with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to purchase and deliver ready-to-eat meals to partner organizations (libraries, camps, recreation centers and other community sites) that operate daily meal service for children 18 and under during summer months.
Who can apply
Meal sites must serve children 18 and under and be located in low-income areas that qualify under federal SFSP guidelines; sites partner with OFS to receive meals and run daily service.
