About this program
Bibliomedia supports newly founded or reorganised community libraries with long-term loan collections as start-up assistance. The support is typically provided for three years and helps libraries build an attractive media offer while developing their own collection.
Who can apply
Intended for new or reorganised municipal libraries that could not realise the project without outside help; long-term financing of library operations and ongoing collection renewal must be secured; the library must be run according to Bibliosuisse public library guidelines.
