About this program
Long-term loan stock support for newly founded, reopened, or reorganized community libraries in Switzerland. Bibliomedia provides an initial collection of media for up to three years to help libraries build an attractive offer while they develop their own collection.
Who can apply
For new setups or reorganizations of municipal libraries that could not be realized without outside help; long-term financing of operations and renewal of the collection must be secured after the Starthilfe; the library must be run according to Bibliosuisse guidelines for public libraries.
