National Volunteer Fire Council provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
A partnership with Ricochet that provides volunteer departments with limited resources the opportunity to receive Ricochet PPE, including sets of Ricochet Out Front™ Technical Rescue Gear and other gear packages in later application periods.
Who can apply
Departments must provide emergency medical and/or rescue services, have at least one NVFC member, be over 50 percent volunteer, serve a population of 25,000 or less, be located in the U.S. and legally organized under state law, and demonstrate a need for the gear.
