Grant funding for Queensland Rural Fire Brigades to purchase essential firefighting equipment, construct fire stations, support training, and obtain other vital items. The RFBAQ pays suppliers directly.
Who can apply
Applicant/brigade must be a registered Volunteer/Rural Fire Brigade in the State of Queensland; must lack the ability to raise funds due to small community numbers, low levy income, hardship or similar circumstances; applications must be for brigade purposes only; all applications must be signed by the Brigade’s First Officer and Secretary; brigades are limited to one successful application every 2 years.
