About this program
Food For Neighbors’ core food-distribution program: community donors fill Red Bags at scheduled collection/sorting events (Red Bag Events) held five times each school year; the food and toiletry items collected are delivered to partner middle and high school pantries in Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun counties.
Who can apply
Schools located in Arlington, Fairfax or Loudoun counties with an active food distribution system / pantry (Food For Neighbors serves middle and high schools). Schools request a Red Bag and must coordinate pickup/delivery on Red Bag Event days.
