United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Application to become a UWGLV qualified community partner agency. Approval is a prerequisite for future funding consideration and makes organizations eligible to apply for one-year and multi-year grants as available. The program also provides partner-network access and some capacity-building support for nonprofits.
Who can apply
Locally based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations providing local services in Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton counties; 501(c)(3) status for at least one year or attachment to an active fiscal sponsor; Pennsylvania Department of Education licensed/registered school districts or for-profit organizations are also eligible; organization provides health and human services programming in education, healthy aging, food access and/or emergency services; organization must not discriminate on listed protected bases; must submit required organizational, governance, financial, insurance, and policy documents.
