Provision of Trösteteddys (Teddy Distribution to Emergency Services & Child Welfare Organizations)
A resource program from Good Bears of the World – Deutsche Teddy-Stiftung
This is not a grant
Good Bears of the World – Deutsche Teddy-Stiftung provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
The Deutsche Teddy-Stiftung supplies its approved 28 cm safety-tested teddy bears free of charge to emergency responders and child-facing institutions (police, fire departments, rescue services, hospitals/ambulances, youth welfare offices, crisis intervention teams, hospices, etc.) to be given to children in emergency or traumatic situations. Bears are shipped in 24-piece packs; organisations can receive bears for use at incident scenes and in child care contexts.
Who can apply
Organizations must be emergency services or child-facing institutions that will distribute bears to children in need (police, fire brigade, rescue services, hospitals, youth services, crisis teams, hospices). Specific eligibility beyond this is not detailed on the site.
