Partner Agency Partnership (Food Distribution: TEFAP, CSFP, Kids Cafe, School & Mobile Pantries, Summer Meals, Prescriptive Pantry, Senior Outreach, Community Kitchen)
This is not a grant
Dare to Care provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Dare to Care partners with nonprofit organizations, churches, shelters, kitchens, and school-based programs to supply government-funded and donated food (including TEFAP, CSFP, Kids Cafe), as well as access to school pantries, mobile pantries, summer meals for kids, prescriptive pantry supplies, senior outreach deliveries, and community kitchen food resources. Partners receive in-kind food product and program support to distribute free food to their clients.
Who can apply
Organizations must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or a qualifying church (or meet church qualifier form criteria). Partners must meet operational requirements such as operating at least one distribution day per month (minimum 90 minutes), ordering at least once every 30 days, picking up orders from the Dare to Care warehouse, and completing onboarding and periodic food safety training. Additional documentation (e.g., IRS determination letter or church qualifier) is required.
