About this program
OTA provides endorsement and a letter of support for eligible members applying for external federal research funding in the basic, clinical, or translational sciences. The OTA review process considers significance, relevance, scientific rigor, and feasibility.
Who can apply
Principal investigator must be an OTA member in good standing applying for a federal grant; the request must pertain to an open national funding opportunity or equivalent; the topic must be relevant to the OTA mission; significant participation by an OTA member is required; grants under $100,000 are unlikely to receive endorsement.
