OpenAI Foundation — AI Resilience (funding pillar)
This is not a grant
Openai provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Supports high-impact defensive applications of AI in the life sciences through free GPT-Rosalind API use for researchers, public health teams, mission-driven organizations, and other qualified research teams working on public-health-relevant biodefense capabilities.
Who can apply
Applications welcome from academic, nonprofit, government-affiliated, small-to-midsized companies, and other qualified research teams working on projects with clear public benefit. Projects should be focused, technically credible, intended for maximal public benefit and sharing, and prioritize biodefense-related defensive uses.
