About this program
MLFA provides pro bono legal services, training, and community outreach to Muslim nonprofit organizations, including Governance-Risk-Compliance (GRC) legal screenings, bylaws reviews, and select pro bono governance legal clinics. The program is intended to help Muslim 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations strengthen internal practices, regulatory compliance, and organizational infrastructure.
Who can apply
Designed for Muslim nonprofit organizations; the page states MLFA provides confidential legal screenings to Muslim 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations. Bylaws review may be available for organizations located in any state. GRC screenings are noted as currently available, with IL, NY, and CA in process of being added.
