Organizations can request one or more full-time VISTA members; a site fee of $3,500 per Standard VISTA for first-year subsites is described, increasing by $500 per VISTA each year (not to exceed $7,000 for each Standard VISTA).

About this program

A capacity-building VISTA subsite program that provides partner organizations with full-time AmeriCorps VISTA members to fight poverty by building organizational and community capacity. Nevada Volunteers invites indigenous tribes, rural counties, and nonprofit/community organizations in under-resourced communities to request VISTA members.

Who can apply

Indigenous tribes, rural counties, nonprofit/community organizations, municipalities, tribal governments, higher education institutes, and other mission-driven organizations in under-resourced communities may partner with Nevada Volunteers. Applicants must be able to provide adequate workspace, supervision, OSOT, reporting, and cost share, and proposed activities must comply with AmeriCorps VISTA rules.
