This is not a grant
Mr Holland'S Opus Foundation provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
A disaster relief fund administered by the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation that rebuilds school music programs in the aftermath of natural disasters by replacing instruments and supplies lost or damaged in events such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, fires, and earthquakes.
Who can apply
School music programs are eligible if timely replacement through insurance or FEMA is not available, the school had an established music program before the disaster, the school is scheduled to reopen soon, there is a suitable space for music classes and secure storage, a music teacher is in place, and the school can verify the need is directly related to disaster loss or evacuated students.
