Mobile Food Assistance Unit (MFAU) / Mobile Services
This is not a grant
Long Island Cares provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Mobile distribution services (MFAU, Mobile Pantry, Hope for the Homeless, Children’s Mobile Breakfast Food Truck) that deliver food and direct in-kind resources to communities and partner agencies across Long Island. Agencies and community sites can schedule mobile services to receive direct food assistance.
Who can apply
Community sites, agencies, schools or programs serving people in need that require mobile distribution services; scheduling coordinated through Long Island Cares.
