About this program

A speaker-program grant that brings a Maine Humanities speaker to an organization or community event in Maine. Applicants choose from Maine Humanities speakers and host a single event with one speaker.

Who can apply

Any individual or organization in Maine that wants to convene members of their community to learn from and engage with a speaker is eligible to apply. Applicants should select three preferred speakers. Applications should be submitted about 8 weeks before the planned event.
